블루머메이드

주인공이 물거품이 되었다는 안데르센의 ‘인어공주’의 고전적인 결말을 소재로 시작한다. ‘블루머메이드’의 인어공주는 물거품이 된 것이 아니라 돌이 되었다. 인간은 돌이 된 그녀를 분수대에 동상으로 세우고 기념하며 화석화한다. 그는 아주 오랜 시간 동안 분수대의 동상이 되어 살아간다. 돌로서 바다에 돌아간 인어공주. 파도가 그녀를 맞이해주며 비로소 물거품이 된다. 마침내 바다에서 자유로이 유영할 수 있게 된다.

사라지거나 이별하는 것은 슬프고 허무한 일이라 느낄 수 있지만, 우리가 살아가면서 반드시 배워야 할 일이다. 인간은 주체성을 가지고 삶의 방향을 전환 및 제시하는 것이 가장 이상적이고 바람직한 방법이라 배운다. 그러나 막상 살다 보면 자연재해처럼 닥쳐온 일들에 본인의 선택을 맡길 수밖에 없을 때가 많다. 선택이 자의인지 타의인지는 중요하지 않다. 이는 곧 모험 혹은 완결로 이어지는 이야기가 된다.

The Blue Mermaid

This story begins with the classical ending of Andersen's The Little Mermaid, where the main character turns into bubbles. The mermaid of“The Blue Mermaid" did not become a bubble, but a stone. Humans set her up as a statue. She lives there for a very long time. One day, she could return to the sea as a stone. The waves greet her and finally she could be the bubbles and swim freely in the sea.

Disappearing or farewell might be considered as sad and meaningless, but it is something we must learn in our lives.

We’ve learned that we have to make a decision ourselves with subjectivity. I know that is the most ideal and desirable way. However, in life, sometimes you have no choice but to leave our choice to things that like natural disasters. It doesn't matter whether the choice is arbitrary or involuntary. This soon leads to adventure or completion.
